Do you want to meet other like-minded people working towards a common purpose? Join thousands of activists in local communities across Canada who come together every month to find ways to make human rights a reality for all.

Amnesty’s community groups engage in many types of human rights campaigns and activities. They raise awareness about human rights issues within their communities, lobby local politicians and government officials, and organize educational events with guest speakers, videos, and interactive learning. Group members write letters, hold vigils, organize demonstrations and other public events, support human rights defenders, and work on specific long-standing appeal cases of individuals whose human rights are at risk.
